Whaler's Cove Lodge is located on Killisnoo Island just minutes from the Village of Angoon on the western side of Admiralty Island. Our calm waters are a hundred miles by water from any large towns, so we enjoy wilderness adventures without any crowds. At Whaler's Cove Lodge, you will enjoy the best that Alaska has to offer!

Fishing Adventures...Enjoy the amazing abundance and great fishing variety at Whalers' Cove Lodge. These rich waters produce all five species of Pacific salmon, plus halibut, cod, red snapper, sea bass and 20 other varieties of rockfish. Due to the natural quantity of herring, the area supports one of the finest sport fisheries in the world! 

    

We enjoy productive fishing less than 10 minutes from our private dock. There is no need to run for hours each day to find world class fishing. Calm waters, created by the sheltered weather effect of nearby islands, enhance the pleasure and comfort of your fishing adventures at Whalers' Cove Lodge.

Whaler's Cove Lodge is located on Killisnoo Island, near the Tlingit village of Angoon, Alaska and the famous Kootznoowoo Wilderness and Admiralty Island National Monument. The waters of Chatham Strait are sheltered by Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof islands; you will enjoy the abundant fish and wildlife on the calm waters of the Inside Passage.
